1. Case Brief
The client is the Saudi-based Almajdouie brand, which needed to replicate a specified nameplate (including Arabic text, English branding, and the brand logo). The client provided the original sample and design drawings, requiring a 1:1 replication of material texture, process details, and installation method to ensure the finished product was identical to the original sample, for use in the brand’s equipment identification scenario.

2. Custom Requirements
- Material & Appearance: Replicate the brushed texture of the original 304 stainless steel sample, with a uniform matte metal finish and 0.8mm thickness (consistent with the original sample);
- Process & Details: Use etching + paint filling for text and logos; the blue fill color must match the original sample’s color (Cool Gray 6 C series) exactly, with no paint overflow or burrs on edges;
- Size & Installation: Strictly follow the design drawing dimensions (250×100mm, rounded R corners), retain the 2 mounting holes from the original sample, and ensure compatibility with the client’s equipment installation needs;
- Core Requirement: First produce a 1:1 prototype based on the original sample and design drawing; only proceed with mass production after confirming the material, process, and color match the original sample exactly, ensuring replication precision.
3. Our Solution
Leveraging 20 years of integrated industrial-trade nameplate customization experience, we developed a full-process plan of "sample analysis → process replication → precision control" to meet the core "1:1 replication" requirement:
- Sample & Design Analysis: First disassemble the original sample to confirm it was made of 304 stainless steel (brushed finish), with the process flow: laser cutting blank → surface brushing → chemical etching of graphics/text → paint filling + overflow removal → hole punching; simultaneously cross-reference the design drawing to accurately mark dimensions, R corners, hole positions, etc., ensuring 100% alignment with the original sample;
- Material & Surface Treatment: Select the same batch of 304 stainless steel sheet (0.8mm thickness), and use professional brushing equipment to create a uniform straight brushed finish, replicating the original sample’s matte metal texture;
- Etching & Paint Filling Replication: Use chemical etching with a controlled depth of 0.1mm (consistent with the original sample) to ensure precise recessed graphics/text; use blue ink identical to the original sample for filling, manually apply the ink then wipe off surface overflow with a lint-free cloth, followed by 120℃ high-temperature curing to ensure uniform color and strong adhesion;
- Prototyping & Mass Production: First produce a 1:1 prototype, then compare it with the client’s original sample across 4 dimensions (material, color, size, process); start mass production only after confirmation of consistency; conduct random inspections per production batch to ensure all finished products match the prototype;
-
Installation Compatibility: Strictly position and punch holes per the design drawing, with a hole position tolerance of ≤0.1mm, compatible with the client’s equipment mounting screws, ensuring perfect alignment after installation (consistent with the original sample).

4. Customer Feedback
“The recreated nameplates are identical to our original samples—from the stainless steel texture to the blue paint color, every detail matches perfectly. The production accuracy and process control are very professional, and the installation fits our equipment perfectly. We are fully satisfied with the restoration effect and will continue to cooperate for subsequent customization needs.”
